The silence of a soldier

by Treshawna   Aug 17, 2007

Battles won and wars lost
Through the eyes of a soldier
To protect ones honor
Tears shed as they fight
This is the silence of a soldier

Whether they are dead
Whether they are alive
Their spirit will still thrive
Many innocent lives taken
By the sinners-
But await the soldiers return
This is the silence of the soldier

Shed no tears because
they forever live in our hearts
I don't agree with war
But the hell with it
If it saves innocent people
Rather than a way to make us look mighty
For only that makes us truly sinners
This is the silence of the soldier

My thoughts of war is very clear
This crusade is truly unfair
From grenades to guns and riffles
Soldiers die although they tried
This world is ruled by sinners
TANKS, TRUCKS AND MISSILES
THIS IS THE SILENCE OF THE SOLDIER.
