Blade addiction

by TillyMariex   Aug 17, 2007

Her tears fall down her cheeks
she craves the feeling of the blade
her addiction is a secret
she needs it and she's afraid
she cuts the sorrow away
by causing more pain
she tries to cover it up
but the scars will always remain
she hides in the shadows
so lonely and ashamed
when someone gets hurt
she's the one who's blamed
she knows shes a mistake
that they all regret
she knows she's a girl
whose easy to forget
she holds out her arms
welcoming more sorrow
she cries silently
starring out the window
one day she'll make them see
what its really like to be afraid
but for the meantime
she'll be satisfied with her blade

  • I can relate to this poem a little too much and I bet a lot of other people who are going to read this will be able to relate too.I'm trying my best to get out of the cutting thing but it's so hard. But anyways great poem. The flow was pretty good, a little choppy in parts, but none the less..good.5/5
