She Passes Away

As she left for School she was thinking about him
but she was deep in thought she crossed
she crossed without looking to the left to the right
as she had been taught to her whole life
a car hit her at 100 kilometers an hour
as she lay unconscious on the road her parents didn't know
she woke up slightly too hear the sirens
not knowing where she was fell unconscious again
she heard everything going on around her
when she got to the hospital no-one turned up
a few days later her parents showed up
stressed more than anything
then her friends turned up they were crying
about a week later she hears the doctors say
' she isn't going to make it through this '
she hears people cry everyday for the rest of her life
she wonders if he ever showed up
then she silently passes away a month later

her funeral comes around
everyone is dressed in black
they are there to show they care
if only they showed it before
the guy she always loved was there
crying his heart out
after everyone left
he stayed behind
placed a carefully written note on her grave
saying
' i am sorry i didn't pay you much attention
i loved you from the moment i lay ed eyes on you
you were the best thing that ever happened to me
now your gone i will always be lost.
I never left your bedside at the hospital
i prayed everyday that you could hear me
and would get through this. I'm sorry i was too late. '
he placed a dozen red roses on her grave that day
and said his one last goodbye blew her a kiss
and whispered under his breathe
'rest in peace my Angel'
