He saved her from herself

by TillyMariex   Aug 18, 2007

She sits in a dark corner
with her head slightly bent
no one knows she's crying
they don't see her torment

She hears footsteps and slowly looks up
a boy stands there holding out his hand
she takes it and a tear falls down her cheek
he helps her so that she can stand

He smiles at her
and she smiles inside
he takes her in his arms
and she stayed there and cried

She asks 'Why?'
he says 'I love you'
he leans to kiss her
and she doesn't argue

They walk away hand in hand
into the darkness
never to return
for they have become fearless
