The Birth, Of A Shadow

by Atrum Dominatio Donum ut is Letalis of Regnum   Aug 18, 2007

In Sorte Diaboli,
In choosing of the Devil,
He had become an outcast,
From all he had followed,
And all, that he had come to know,
Would turn against him,
A lifetime of unquestionable dedication,
A lifetime of true belief,
Unrewarded by the one he praised,
And left, with nothing,
But a feeling of accomplishment,
A feeling of utter betrayal.

Since his childhood, the man lay cursed,
All that he loved, would mortally pass,
All that he hated, would immortally remain,
And would remain forever by him.
He turned to God, to show him the way,
Although, his prayers went answered,
Only with more heartache and suffering,
In spite of all this grief,
Being unquestionably dedicated,
To the teachings of the Lord,
He believed hed be rewarded,
For his undeniable loyalty,
However, weeks passed, and nothing,
Full moons passed, and nothing,
Eventually, after years had passed away,
His faith, wore thin,
This is when he turned,
And left behind, his beliefs and dedication.

His patience, had grown thin,
And his moral, an all time low,
Betrayal, heartache and loss lay in his past,
Uncertainty lay in his future,
Soon, he became obsessed with the past,
From depression, came rage,
From range, came hatred,
The Christian Lord, became his nemesis,
From this moment onwaron-wardse vowed to spread his evil,
To have his vengeance,
To give people his past in their lives,
So, he set out to do his work,
Burning churches, town by town,
Killing priests, village by village,
Bishops, city, by city,
Striking fear into those who passed,
Inscribing his name, into the hearts of mortals,
Spreading his evil, throughout the world.

For serving the darkness within,
For spreading darkness, throughout time,
Spreading fear, throughout mortal souls,
He was justly rewarded,
He would become an Immortal,
Within this mortal world,
His name, would live on,
And his soul, live on in an underworld.
Forever, he would be known,
As anyone, to speak of evil,
Would instantly remind the world of him,
For this being, was no other,
Than the Dark Lord Satan himself.
