I Feel

by Christina McDowell   Aug 19, 2007

The steps we took
Before our last dance
Were so special
The last hug you gave me
Was so warm
I never wanted
To let go of you
Your smile
Was so unforgettable
I felt so safe
When I grasped your hand
Time slips away
So quickly when I'm with you
I hope it lasts longer
My heart flutters
And I just can't breathe sometimes
I feel like
I'm another person
So happy and joyful
It's so much fun
To just spend time with you
Mo matter where we are
Or what we're doing
I don't mind
If we have each other
It doesn't matter
You may not be
The super-sweet type
That will tell me
That I'm beautiful all the time
Or bring me flowers often
You won't tell me
You love me
For no reason
But you're true
I know you mean it
Through your actions...

    Beautiful,
    the flow was flawless.
Yet, it would be nicer if you added more,
    description.
    Also punctuation would help,
    ALOT.
For a poem without punctuation is like
    a song without a melody.
Keep it up, I enjoyed it!
