***Before you read this I want to tell you about the inspiration behind it. March 5, 2007 one of my close friends was out at cross-country practice and while waiting for the light to turn she was struck and instantly killed by a full gravel truck. Even now there is a hole in my heart but I am getting better. So enjoy the poem^_^***
Why am I
The only one
Why cant I
Have any fun
It wasn’t me
Who took her away
It was he
Who put her down to lay
Bring her back
To where she belongs
My heart lacks
That loving throng
You took her
And she ran
That’s the last I saw
Before she was hit by a van
