Beverley

At first glance,
You notice the deep ebony of my skin
You travel down south
And notice my
Full...pink...lips.

But how could you not
Notice that way my
Cat eyes pierce through
Even the thickest of all walls?

Is it because
You could not take your eyes
Away from my lower features?

By the grace of my ancestors,
They have passed unto me
My firm robust buttocks,
The thickest of all thighs,
And the most delicate feet,
That could even make a Princess
Bow her head in shame.

But there is more to me
Than the outside.
Inside is a fiery young woman,
Ready to change and challenge the world.

The deep everlasting curiosity
Waiting to be unleashed;
To explore and expand.

How could you not notice,
That my cat eyes are the windows to my soul?
That they are the keys
Which unlock y deepest emotions?
That brightness that always illuminates them?
My eagerness to learn,
Anything and everything,
My potential to rise above the rest, and be the best?

Take another glance,
And make sure it's a good one.
Because there is more to me
Than what you see.
Because I see...
Because I see...
Because...
I...
See...
