Cruel Obsession

by Capri   Aug 19, 2007

She cried all night,
Needing love,
Without someone,
She'd need no one,
So in her cruel obessesion,
She did a search through her possessions,
Inside a bear, she found her gun,
Crying to herself, for she had no one,
She wanted to end the pain,
So she aimed it at her head,
Wishing it would kill her dead,
But in that last moment,
She jerked away,
Alive to live one more day,
She ran to you,
No longer sad,
Saying she no longer had it bad,
But in a moment of desperation,
She called on you and asked a question,
Without even thinking you replied,
For someone wishing suicide,
They should just go ahead and die,
If they think they can't handle the pain,
Then theres nothing left for them to gain.
She said nothing, only thanks,
Hung up the phone, began to think,
Maybe you were right...
Maybe I should end it tonight.
She walked to the bedroom,
Picked back up the gun,
Said she was sorry and held up the gun,
She heard it cock, pulled the trigger,
Her hand dropped.
Her life was gone,
Once again she was alone.

The next day you heard the story,
And hoped it was just that,
But at the day began to pass,
You noticed she wasnt in your class,
You knew the story now was true,
Now there was just one thing left to do.
To cloud the hurt,
And all the fault,
You began to take the pain,
And unto yourself all the blame,
You ran home and downed the pills,
Downed them all with no spills,
Layed down on the bed and cried,
Because of you, she had died,
Maybe now they'd be together,
Because their love should last forever.
