Goodbye

by Aaron Deevers   Aug 20, 2007

I feel nothing
I am numb all over
Red starts to soak through my shirt
I can't stand any more

Light is fading fast
Help is no where to be found
Lying on the floor
Red surrounding me

A knife lies by my side
Red dripping from its tip
My hand still gripping onto it

Each breath is getting harder to take
Starting to feel tired
Feeling my life is fading

One last gasp of air
One last tear
One last stare
One last fear

Fear will no longer taunt me
It will no longer haunt me
Finally its time to go

One last gasp
Tired I am
Goodbye fear
Goodbye world
