Waiting to Say I Love You

by Kenny   Aug 20, 2007

*Please be kind enough in finishing the poem if you do have started*

When I was in a crowded trail of dust
To hide from it, I really must
Till you lingered my unconditioned senses
And bring back my absolute defenses

You were so beautiful each passing day
Watching you in a distant I wish to stay
I really feel strange that moment
I look down and asked no comment

I can't understand why I'm afraid of you
As if in a room, we are the only two
I can't even look straight in your eyes
That depicts the deep blue skies

I then realized that I love you, and I really do
The way you look at my eyes
There's this feeling that's undefined
Inside this hollow heart, I hope I can find

Your laughter that seems so sweet
That prevents my smile to retreat
Your hair so smooth and shiny
Every inch of you was just created perfectly

Till the day has come for me to let go
And cut this feeling that started to grow
Because someone special has invaded
Your new love that swiftly faded

Again loneliness has knocked my door
Gave me emptiness, and asked even more
I try not to cry each dark cold night
To go on with this battle, prolong the fight

Within this tormented mind and soul
The pain cuts through in me, the love he stole
Years had passed, I won the fight
I let go of your love, I wish this feeling might

________________________________________

We both crossed paths and eyes bisect
Think of the possibility that our hearts will not intersect
But still my sight can't keep not to land on you
Don't know why, can't find a single clue

Months have passed; I want to send a text message
Wishing to write a short greeting passage
I went up to our roof and there I sat
To my phone I hurriedly wink at

Minutes have passed, we're doing just fine
Days slowly fade, our words giving us sign
You showed that I, you caress
I treasured those times, nevertheless

A single day not receiving a loving word from you
To dream and think of you, I want to do
A single day loosing your prominent presence
My life's feeling in the state of absence

Seasons are changing I felt something new
Moments makes me fell better being with you
Your voice sounds so sweet as it lingers
Hands so tender I wish I could play with your finger

Hon, I really loved the way you are
Makes my love grow stronger even from a far
I will never ever play your heart
Loosing you would make me fall apart

The raindrops fall, we're together
Come hold my arm, as if it is forever
I asked you a very simple question
Not discussed, not tackled, not a lesson

You held my hand so tight
I looked your face, with a weary eyes
You whispered those three loving words
That makes my tears fall, unexpected to be heard

Your answer was No, I bow down and looked at you..
you smiled and said.. Kenny. . . .no was perfectly not the answer. I do also love you..

This poem was inspired by my girlfriend before we had a relationship... Sarah Dale.. I love you
