Backstabbers Duet

by RainbowSlider   Aug 20, 2007

Yea, though you back-stab me every time I turn around.
Oddly enough you seem to be the only friend I found.
Really shouldn't take your put downs to my broken heart.
Because sometimes you miss and stab another vital part.
You have wounded my ego so many times I worry about it.
But it doesn't do any good to just go hide and pout.
I know as sure as there is a tomorrow and your knife.
I will still have blood for you to drain from my life.
Would be so nice if we could just try to get along.
Wouldn't be us though; Would be others singing our song.
