Dear sister

by A person   Aug 20, 2007

Every morning I wake to your voice,
Every smile I see reminds me of you,
Every day dream, Every thought is about you.

No Matter how hard I try I just can't forget,
We had so much fun when we were together.
I lived life with no sadness until the day you left.

The most vivid memory I have with you,
was when I stayed by your side, that one gloomy night.
The doctor told me to prepare for the worst.

We talked for hours, recalling every happy moment,
We finally finished speaking, I said goodnight.

When I woke up, I was in a state of shock,
there you lay before me, white as snow,
Before I could think my vision faded,
The tears rolled down like waterfalls.

My precious baby sister is gone, why did this happen?
Am I this cursed?

Ten years have passed,
You are a beautiful memory,
Now on this gloomy night I can hear your voice,
Memories and sounds echoing in my head.

I prayed to God, hoping you will hear me.
I said, "sister I'm coming wait for me."
You replied,"I'm waiting."

Now we are together to be free to do what we like.
My only regret,
was not taking my life soon enough to be with you......
