Won't Do All These Things

by Aimael   Aug 20, 2007

You can feel miserable and I won't hold or comfort you
You can dress up and I won't say you look nice too
You can ask me for coffee and I won't take your cup
You can throw your clothes and I won't pick them up
You can make a mistake and I won't say it's OK
You can have a nightmare and I won't take it away

You can ask where I've been but I won't stick to you as glue
You can silently chastise me but I won't take the clue
You can greet me in the street and I wont tell you hi
You can get sacked from your job and I won't want to know why
You can give me a shy smile but I won't take the ring
You can demand an explanation and I won't say a thing

I won't do all these things, and do you want to know why?
When I asked for you to care, you didn't even try.

I really enjoyed reading this poem :)

The flow was good and the repetition in the lines worked really well. I really liked the ending, it gave a good twist at the end.

    Keep it up!
