Learning To Let Go

by Victoria   Aug 20, 2007

-I reach out for you
You roughly pull away
-I call out for you
You act as if your name's changed
-I cry for you
You refuse to wipe my tears
-I get on my knees
You kick as if I wasnt there
-I wonder where it all went
You say it was never there
-I try to see the good
You swear I'm misunderstood
-I try to hold you
You move out of reach
-I turn and walk away
You realize things will never be the same
-I scream, "I love you"
You whisper, "I loved you too"
