all alone this wolf searches
for the things that can quell
his heart and stomach
A wolf finds prey in the forest
all alone he stalks his prey
the whole time they both ache
he lunges for his prey
A wolf sits above his fallen prey
all alone he begins to eat
while his stomach is filled
his heart remains empty

all alone he searches again
but this time he looks to find

looks everywhere in everything
but he continues to be disappointed
