Camelotian Night

by Richard Machado   Aug 21, 2007

Camelot;

A place of green pastures
That clap in the wind;

A wonder where trees roam free,
And where cherry blossoms sing.

Camelot;

Where the water trickles
And babbles in brooks;

And where the air brings sounds,
That my eye overlooks;

And, the vibrations of blues and hues on the leaves
As they dance on their stems and pull on their weaves.

Will a bird and you tango on this lovely day?
Or, will she just land with a bounce, and away;

With the feathered flutter stomping the air;
With her feathered flutter chanting no care.

'Tis not a place for you or me; Camelot,
'Tis not a place that we can be.

Camelot; a world of grandeur and freedom and soaring flight;
Camelot's a place, where we can only stay -- tonight.

    Oh, this has such great flow and rhythm AND rhyme. i really liked this. this is truly a beautiful poem. the visuals are nice. i will vote if i am still allow, and i will add this to my favorites. it is unique. =] cliche poems are overrated, even though i like most of them anyway. =] variety is always good.

    i saw a couple of errors though. overlook is one word, you had it as two. and then since you copied and pasted your poem, the computer gets those weird symbols...

    a majoorrr 5/5.

    [ps- thanks for the lovely comment. that's got to be one of my favorites, not becuz it's saying im good, but its just the way you wrote it. ]hehe
