Unfamiliar Territory

by LovelyDivine   Aug 21, 2007

I've felt the touch of your hand
Your arms wrapped around me.
Wrapped in your loving embrace
I feel your lips upon mine.
Your hand is creeping down
To a place of unknown.
Grabbing your hand
Caressing it in my own,
You lead my hand down
To someplace new.
We're growing closer to each other
As we uncover unfamiliar territory.

Excellent my dear poet. The word choice is superb and the connotations evoked by the lexis makes this piece outstanding. 5/5 all the way

    I love your style

I think it was a very good poem. Using the last words as the title is really effective, well done.

I really feel the passion here, the warmth that comes from the images you give, it is much deeper even after I reflect over it. Good short one.
