Imprisoned

by Tiny Reader   Aug 21, 2007

Sweet eyes lie upon no beauty
Innocence not rewarded with grace
Silent footsteps along the landscape
Are treated with no sense of peace.

Prisoner in a danger-filled labyrinth
No hope of escape from these walls
Terrified wails seep out of the mind
And the sound fails to reach tender ears.
