Neverending Tears

Tears pour like a neverending stream
Of sorrow, of pain, an evil dream
That tears down your life
As sharp as a knife
Cutting your skin
You know you won't win
It takes control, you have none
It won't sleep,until you are gone
Away from this place,of sadness,hate
That eats my heart,why wont it wait
Until i'm ready,why does it torment
My mind,my body,all it resents
The pain,it's strong,it tears me apart
I'm bleeding despair,so is my heart
The struggle,the fight,to get through the day
Yet it fights, it fights, it fights to stay
Like an evil predator hunting it's prey
I know I can't win, I know there's no way
Yet if I can keep, holding on
Maybe,just maybe, it won't be too long
Until I find my way out of the dark
Then I could make a brand new start
For now,the dark,it's enveloping me
Surrounding me,hunting me,why can't I flee
To the light of hope,my candle of hope
It's trying to kill me,I'm scared I won't cope
Tears,they melt,I'm drowning
In a sea of sorrow,my heart pounding
I reach for the door
Whimpering on the cold floor
Why can't you see? Why won't you seee?
Its torturing me!
