Beneath The Rose

The flowers are falling,
Dying in the dust,
We are unfaithful,
Lying in the lust,

Fear encased heart,
Enclosed to your soul,
Broken crystals shatter,
Incompetence in goal,

Drowning in the ashes,
Laughing as they run,
Eternal crimson rivers,
In darkness I will shun,

Aching are the willows,
Clawing at my skin,
Fallen to the shadow,
In death, I will sin,

A fake misconception,
A life drawn in blood,
Inside every waking eye,
Is anothers breaking flood,

Trapped in this misery,
As I take my last breath,
Trapped in her solitude,
As I fold onto death.
