Silence Was The Secret

by Dollie   Aug 22, 2007

Stole away into the night where the wolf howls
Scampred into the willows trees upon the lake of owls
Sat along the dew filled grass right below Meadows Bay
In a valley between both cities, "I love you" he did say

The north wind blew away those words
And blew it to the mouth of birds
Then along did they chirp
Across the field of Ol' John Earp

But Where the willow and lovers lay
In the valley from Meadows Bay
The moon did light and it portray
Love forever and a day

For the secret that she did not tell
In her heart will always dwell
A lie from the lips of Dame.Adelle
Silence was the secret not to tell
