A lovers mind

"i wonder what he`s doing...
i wonder where he is...
i wonder what he`s thinking
and if it`s me he`ll miss"

"it`s been some time now
since i`ve seen his face
and i wonder whens the next time
he help me find my place?"

when he walks through that door
she`ll see it in his eyes
she`ll see right through
that horrible disguise

does he care for her tears?
he`ll never see her cry
he`ll only hear the rumor
of him and the lie.

he looks at his hands
they`re a crimson red
from the her heart
for him it bled

he looks in her eyes
he sees her pain
he feels so bad
about his game

the look on her face
she knows he lied
he looked at her heart
that almost died.

her blue eyes turned gray
as she fell onto the floor.
he goes down to see her
but she says "no more"

"baby, it can`t be done
without you i can`t be"
she looked right at him
"then why do you hurt me?"

"i don`t mean to, honest.
I just need to know what`s true."
she looked down "what`s that?"
"to know i love only you."

"i can`t play that game again
this has to be the last time."
"i always run back into your arms
you`ll always be just mine."

"i give you to0 many chances"
"this is my last one."
"if you mess up again
i`m finished, i`m done."

throughout the years together
the pain never left her eyes
it`s his constant reminder
she`ll see all his lies.

the first time he saw her cry
then he finally knew,
the game had to end now
she was almost through.

there`s all these thoughts
yet we`re still blind
who knows what goes through
a lovers mind.
