You Know who am, know that I always care

As I've grown up I've realized when I thought you were over protective and smothering me, you were just trying to do your best to look out for me.
When u said no and I said you were being unfair if realize now it's only because you care.
When I said you were a pig i want you to know I didn't mean any of it.
When you said the whole day through that you are going to be there for me i realize now how much it's true.
I thank you for all that you've done
I can't ever imagine you not being there
The battle is finally won
I can understand your side now
For all you've done all I can say is "Wow"
I can't imagine being able to do that much
Thanks for always being my crutch
You helped me when I fell
You do your job a hell of a lot well
Thanks for never giving up on me when I gave up on myself, because without you I wouldn't have turned out this well
I understand now when I thought you were being controlling you we just giving me a hand up, so thanks again for helping me up when I fell.

the years may go on but I thank you always for just being yourself and for just being the best dad I could ever have.
