Let It Die

All you ever seem to do to me,
Is bring me down in tears,
Make me wish the world wasn't turning,
And make living one of my fears.

I'll cry out to you,
And all you ever do is walk away,
I sit here wondering what I'm going to do,
As I'm stranded here for days.

I try telling myself I'll be okay,
But I start dreaming nightmares,
And my head is so messed up,
But no one cares.

No one cares to hear,
The stories deep down inside,
About the boy who stole my heart,
And did nothing but let it die.

    Chosen words were simple and so as the imagination but yeah i agree it is a gloomy and heart felt piece... and it really tear my heart apart maybe because i can also relate on this one. oh by the way, u created the picture perfectly and maybe some people can also relate on this one. Great job! keep up the good work!

    This was quite the heartfelt piece, The flow wasn't as strong to me as in the other piece I read but it still came together nicely. You seem to end poetry really well I loved the ending in this one yet again it was powerful and hits the heart. Altogether this poem also deserves a 5/5 keep up the good work. Well done. ~mel
