Sunset

The sun sets as I lay here in your arms. As I look into the neverendng sky I wonder of what will become of us. Is this just one night we feel the way we do? Or is this the night our love has become so real? The crisp wind tickles my nose any my hair picks up a mind of it's own. The sun slowly goes over the mountian, lighting the sky wild colors of orange and pink. We lay here dreaming this moment will last forever. This moment will always last forever in our memory even though it only lasts a few precious moments in truth. I look deep in your eyes and I feel the warmth from your body. All of the feelings are all mixed together and yet though I can't tell what I feel, I feel them stronger than anything i've ever felt. I lean in closer and feel your heart beating faster, ever so slightly you hold me a little tighter, like it was the last day we'd ever hold eachother. You lean in slowly for a kiss. As our bodies touch chills go down my spine and you run the back of your hand on the side of my face, just to check if i was real. In that moment of time I knew i'd rather be no other place than in your everstrong loving arms.
