I fell into your loving eyes

by Rich C   Aug 23, 2007

I fell into your loving eyes
And you fell into my heart
One morning in the doorway on your porch

That spring I met the goddess you
And you stirred my buried passion
And I thought "how could those eyes not love me?"

Yet I could not move
And I felt shame that I cared for you
In that way too, my trusting friend

Listen to my silence, my secret love
My heart and soul surrender
And my mind can not dissuade

I yearn to caress you
But whether we touch or not
I feel complete when you are near

If you knew how I feel would you laugh with joy?
Or would you bid me gone forever?
The risk is far too great to bear

But if you stay my friend
I'll love you close by yet afar
And you'll be my secret love forever
