The Perfect Friend

You say you need a friend who'll listen and care,
a shoulder to cry on when no one else is there.

A friend to stay with you night and day,
and knows all the right words to say.

Be with you thought good and bad,
comfort you when you are sad.

Someone to understand exactly how you feel,
be right beside you when you kneel.

At the foot of the cross to confess every sin,
God is truly the perfect friend!

This is a true story. God really is the perfect friend. If you're not saved now then don't wait. You aren't promised tomorrow. All you have to do is confess to Christ that you are a sinner. I am so glad he is a God of second chances!
