She stood there crying
Not knowing why
But I noticed that look in her eyes
I once felt that lost too
And she wondering what to do
Her life hit a wall
And her dreams did too
She feels there's nothing left for her to do
Leaving this world is on her mind
What I wouldn't do to change her mind
I loved to take her hand
Sit her down to tell her she's not alone
So many people have felt that way some times
So I stepped to her to lend a hand
ANd the girl with the look in her eyes
She was no longer there
I looked around but she was no where to be found
WHen I realized the girl's face I saw
It use to be mine
It was my face
A face from my past
