Looks

by Catherine   Aug 24, 2007

I may not seem like your ordinary girl
because of my looks, I don't mean to make you hurl.
I wish that people would stop the staring and accept me for who I am
I didn't ask to look like this, it's a boyfriend that I miss.
Society today is controled by how you look
I will never ever fit in, is thinking like this a sin?
I wisk that you all would stop looking
but still I wish that you could see
the person that I am inside
the person that's really me.
I'm not the most fortunate when it comes to how I look
I know that very well, and because of that my life is sometimes hell.
I've got zits and pores that never leaves me alone
it seems like I have bad genes all the way into my bones
I hope that someday it will all get better.
I'll get a boyfriend, a husband and a child or two
I really wish that I do.

This was a very good poem and had a lot of heartache in it, I know sometimes people can be so cold, almost as if they didn't have any feelings at all, trust me, you did a wonderful job on the poem, it was written very well and it had a lot of truth and meaning in it and for that I super job,,,, 5/5
