I make a wish

by Catherine   Aug 24, 2007

Each day I make a wish, a wish that no one knows
A wish that travels round the world, a wish that always grows.
A wish that is considerate to all of human kind
A wish that touches everyone, no one is left behind
What language they speak, or the colour of their cheek.
My wish will change your life, and the way you look at things
It will make you treasure, everything that life brings
The love, the hate, the laughter and tears, the smiles and frowns,
Yes everything between the ups and downs.
The people in grief of a loved ones loss
They will see the sun, and laugh once again, no matter the cost.
The children who's childhood been stolen and future not bright
Will be touched by my wish and they will be alright.
But for a wish to come true, it must stay a secret,
And if I tell you it will not come true
So I'll keep my lips sealed and my wish will pull through.
