Making my way down town
Walking faster
The quiet, humble streets and enclaves passing me by
Friendly faces greeting my every step
Excitement filling my mind
As I stride towards the beach

Making my way across the beach front
The endless stretch
Illuminated in pleasant ways
By passing cars
And bustling palm trees
Bending round the beach front
As the evening sea air
Embraces my every move
As its tinted sky shadows over me
Whilst I stroll further
closer to my destination

Looking left
Cars motor up and down the road
Cruising past buildings, shops, apartments, houses
The fast-paced, uptown way of life
Booming with the sound of music and laughter
As motors screech up and down the main Street
Passing by the images of love
And the calm sea side atmosphere

Looking ahead
My eyes wondering off to the right
I see a row of lights curling round the coast
Homes and hotels rising up the hill
Bearing down over the setting
As people rush down
To join the fun
Swimming, playing, walking, laughing
In the evening sun
Amongst the backdrop
Of the sounds of the sea
As the seagulls squawk as they glide through in the sky
And the waves sooth along the sands
From the uptown shops
To he downtown suburbs

Heading further ever closer to where I�m going
Passing by those buildings and cars
Crossing the road
Heading my way through the crowd
Continuing up the coast line
As the breeze engulfs me once more
I feel a sense of freedom and belonging as it hits me head on
Whilst I walk along the beach

Heading round the corner
Through the bush
Uncovering
The football pitch
Where my friends are waiting
I am greeted with smiles and warmth
As they invite me in
With their welcoming charm
Drafting me in
Running free
With a ball at my feet
Not a care in the world
Not a problem in my mind

The hours pass
And she turns up
Her smile singling her out from the rest of the crowd
Her hair running down her shoulders
Her eyes meeting with mine in an instance
Love.
Is what�s happening to me now.

Looking around
I realise I have found the perfect life
As I play the perfect game
In the sun
And in this chilled atmosphere

Looking around
I see the perfect setting
Here with my friends
And maybe with her
If I could just have her tonight

And now I wonder,
Would I ever want to leave?
If I could just stay here in Salou,
Forever.
