Crystal tears

by Broken Angel   Aug 24, 2007

Look now, dear old friend,
Look at where we are again,
Cruel words were said,
And crystal tears were shed.

And now thoughts,
Race through our heads,
We wonder if,
This friendship has come to an end.

What started as a disagreement,
Lead to a bitter war.
And now I scream,
"I can't take this anymore!"

But this won't be,
Our last goodbye,
And I will not let this chance,
Pass me by.

I'm sorry, my dear old friend,
Please forgive me, once again.
I was a fool,
To think that this friendship could ever end.

So, my dear old friend,
See, once more, where we are again?
More cruel words were said,
And crystal tears were shed.

But now,
I can see the truth.
Please, my dear old friend,
Don't make me broken again.

    I absolutely loved the repetition of;
    "crystal tears were shed. "

I enjoyed reading the meaning of the poem. Seems tragic! You and your friends get into an argument. After the argument is through you two both go on the same process.

    How tragic.

"Crystal Tears" That took some good imagination. Love the title. Matches the poem spot on perfectly. I give you points you deserve.
