You Bring Smiles To Me (Kyrielle)

by Cindy   Aug 25, 2007

Beautiful little girls
In your dresses that swirl
Dancing like small fairies
You bring smiles to me

My handsome baby boy
Watching you chew your toys
Sparkling eyes, cheeks so chubby
You bring smiles to me

My one and only son
Respect from me you've won
In you, your dad I see
You bring smiles to me

Thank you God for my family
Showing me all their beauty
Letting me take this life's journey
You bring smiles to me

Kyrielle:
French poetry form, it has a refrain - the final line of each stanza is the same. 4 lined stanzas with a rhyming pattern of aabB. A rhyme pattern of abaB may also be used if desired.

This is dedicated to my son and my 3 beautiful grand-children and the one who made it all possible.

And you bring smiles to me Cindy :)
I'd never read a Kyrielle before. Is it always as good as this or was it you that made it as beautiful as this? :)
