A Whisper Of The heart

by Alissa   Aug 25, 2007

Awaken by the stillness of the house,
almost like the wind had stopped itself.
Nothing moved but my tangled hair
that slowly fell upon my tired face.

The soft covers of silk,
caressed my smooth, tanned skin.
Crumpling down to my feet
as I awoken in the dark.

Summer is sure to be over,
mist formed on the window sill
and my skin began to pickle,
rising goosebumps appeared.

I walk over to the window,
feeling hard wood on my bare feet.
Creaking noises whisper as I step,
and my eyes are still dead tired.

But something inside me,
just feels like I need the air.
So I open my window,
finding it an annoying struggle.

But the window breaks open,
a gust of cold breeze hits my face.
And I suddenly shiver,
as if I fell into an ice pool.

The moon, faint but clear
lingers above my dark silhouette.
My eyes gaze down to the road,
and a clear shadow sneaks.

Like a sharp stab in the stomach,
my heart leaps a thousand miles.
His sweet smile clouds with the fog,
and I realize it's really him.

The look on his face showed,
showed me that the same thing
happened to his sweet soul.

Something inside him whispered,
told him to come see me one last time.
The same feeling I had when I awoken,
that told me to feel the cold breeze outside.

It was a secret tale,
that told us both one thing.
Love stalked our souls,
it sang it so sweet like...
a whisper of the heart.

I was inspired to write this by the movie Whisper Of The
Heart, it always told me the story of my own love...
but in a different view. My dear had called me right at the
time I watched this movie and I thought of writing.
This is a scene in the story, I hope you like it.
