Final destination:.

Any move can make your future,
any ride could be your last,
a random guy could shoot ya,
every heartbeat is the past,

you could wake up tomorrow,
would you cherish your time?
show your true feelings,
then "BOOM" its flat line,

or would you go out and blow it?
throw it away like another day,
take your life for granted,
like you are here to stay,

then would you look down on the past,
as began the building of regret,
of everythinging that you did,
words said that you never meant,

you have to enjoy the moment,
live your life like its your last breath,
soak up all the enjoyment,
till there is none left,

it is the scariest surprise,
just to even think.........
that this very moment. . .
could be your last blink'
.
.tell me what you think of what could be your last moment...if everybody lived life like it was your last day...what would this world be like?

I loved this poem. It's so true. You should live every moment as your last, you never know when it will just end. I liked the message and the flow was beautiful. Altogether an amazing poem.

If everybody lived life like it was the last day...I think all wars would end cold turkey, everyone would eat his favorite stuff, do their favourite sport one more time, say 'I love you' to the ones they really care for and go to sleep for the last time at the end of that day in the arms of the one they loved most ( not neccecarily their husband/ wife but maybe another sweetheart he/ she holds more dear).
If it was my last day, I would fly halfway around the world to be with my sweetheart, even if it meant being inside the plane for the biggest part of that day.

    5/ for your original poem!
