Pete

by Stephanie Hyatt   Aug 25, 2007

Together we can make it,
you and I,
If we help each other.
I really believed in you.
I'm sorry if I cried
the day that you died.
You were all there was for me.
You told me that you loved me,
and I believed that too.
Now all I hear is the echo,
of the empty wind,
howling across your grave.
When I call out your name,
you don't answer.
Why did you leave me?
You killed yourself,
but you killed me too.
Only, I have to live
with the pain of death,
you don't.
Oh Pete, where are you?
I still love you,
why'd you leave me here,
alone?
