Goddess Forever

by Renee   Aug 25, 2007

Envious thoughts on a beautiful mind,
jealousy coursing up the curve of her spine
Eyes that find fault in every step;
stepping on her own divinity.

Imagining a world not of her own,
becoming the shadow, abandoning her throne
weak at the knees for the one she can't be,
Goddess kneels to Goddess; this she can't see.

Her chin lifted up to eyes, insecure
the very same eyes she's envied before
obscured by self delusion, now she realized
A Godess she was; forever, inside.
