Living without love

by Dee   Aug 26, 2007

At thirty seven years old
She is mother and a wife
Still trying to find some direction
And looking for Mr. Right

A grown up business woman
Greeting you with a smile and firm handshake
Her sadness is disguised
Her direction in life is a mistake

She thought she once found the one
But then she walked away
But God keeps sending him back to her
But he does not feel the same

Could it be her actions
That have caused these bridges burned
For one she was so ambitious
Never leaving a stone unturned

She has experienced much of life
No stranger to the good and bad
But nothing takes the place
Of the life that she once had

But I guess it may be over
And she must live with her regret
For what she would give
To say all the words left unsaid

For her sake and her happiness
I hope she finds the one
She has worked too hard in her life
To keep living without love
