Life's Questions

by Mish   Aug 26, 2007

As I sit on my porch at 3:30 am
There are questions in my mind I can no longer ignore
They have haunted me for some years
Like: What was I put into this world for?
Everyone has these moments
Where theres no much you want to know
If you have chosen the right path?
How can we really tell friend from foe?
Can you ever see the light after much time in the dark?
Make a tough decision and stick with it?
On that date did they also feel that excitement and spark?
What are we here for?
Will we ever figure it out?
So many experiences lived through...
And why did those times come about?
To teach us valuable lessons?
To let us know right from wrong?
To help us find ourselves?
Why is it taking so long?
If we stop searching for an answer...
Will it come to those unexpected?
Or will they never be answered?
Forever to be neglected?
The sun is rising now
There has been enough said
I'll try to get some sleep
Although these thoughts won't leave my head....
