Facade of lies

by Jeffreys Girl   Aug 26, 2007

The opening, the aperture
what depths we delude
chaotic light, encroaching dark
lie in wait within ourselves

altered awareness
in-folding out
a questioning scream
an answering shout

the dreams of tomorrow
a breath of today
moments of movement
defined in display

nature interacts us
yet we stand blind
unable to accept
the concepts we find

illusion, sweet illusion
how bright and how pure
revelatory hallucinations
filled with fleeting allure

i have caught a glimpse
and saw with wide starring eyes
the world that rests
untrodden below a facade of lies

the shroud indifference
is crumpled at my feet
the mystic empower
reaches my senses, incomplete
