The Call That Changed It All

The phone rang
Although it wasn't for me
I picked it up
Who it was I wanted to see

A females voice spoke
Quiet and calmly
with a sense of passion
She said alone she didn't want to be

He told her he loved and missed her
In shock i hangup violently
I'm shaking
Fury rising over me

I want to scream
How could he do this to me?
Who was that?
Who was that talking to MY boyfriend so inappropriately?

He said he loved her...
With that I felt my heart start to un-mend
He was giving up
Our love no longer would he defend

Suddenly he walks into the room
Says he's got to leave
He's going to go "pick up a pizza"
his words I don't believe

He's going to go see that girl who called
What a lying conniving d**k
He walks out of the house
I feel like I'm about to be sick

But I take a deep breath
And try to control myself
I need to calm down
For my own health

He's all I have left
The one star left in my sky
If he's doing what i think he is
I will surely die

So I grab my keys
And head to my car
Follow him down the street
Until he walks into a busy bar

I quickly sneak in
But now I've lost him
I can't see him at all
the place is lit too dim

I'm about to give up
Until I hear his laugh
I turn and see him kissing a girl
I'm about to show him my wrath

I go right behind him and yell
"YOU ARE SUCH A FAKE"
He turns and sees me
An apology he tries to make

He's trying to apologize?!
Am I getting this right?
"BUDDY THERES NO FORGIVENESS HERE"
But a beer soaked shirt you just might

I take a strangers drink
Poor it over the idiots head
"OH MY GOD YOU LIAR!"
The other woman said

Then says "I'm so sorry I didn't know he was with you"
I start to walk away
I really don't care
About what that woman has to say

Although it's not all her fault
I can't help but hate
She took part in recking everything
And taking away who I thought was my soul mate

He follows me home
I lock him out
"DON'T YOU EVER COME NEAR ME AGAIN!"
Is what I shout

I take all his belongings
And throw them at his feet
"Baby I'm sorry I love you!" he says
I replied:
"If you did you wouldn't cheat"
