I've always heard that your choices make who you'll be in the future
But what about the ones living in torture?
The ones who pray and pray
hoping that there'll be better days
But they get no solution and in all the confusion their faith soon starts to fade away
There's those that have little or no choices from the day they're born
hardships make them stronger
But when they can't take it no longer
dying is what they're waiting for
I have plans for my future, but should I?
When nothing in this life but death is guaranteed
How do I know when I'll need to say good-bye?
Cause only God knows if we'll live to see the morning light
So why bother to put yourself above others?
Does it make you feel better to watch others in pain
While you pretend to be happy but in reality you're darkening like a stain that can't be washed away
Cause when we pass away as we lie there lifeless we're all the same
It's a shame that many times we take life for granted
What's the point of holding on to our past when it's gone and we can't bring it back
Life goes by so fast, that we can't afford to waste even a bit
Cause there's those whose lives are on the line
Time is running out for them, like a candle that after it's been lit
So It'd be a sin for us to throw away our life
when there are those who plead to live for just a little more time
Live everyday like it's your last and die with no regrets
