When the Dreamers Dream Came True

by Kenny   Aug 27, 2007

*Please be kind enough in finishing the poem if you do have started*

There was once a helpless dreamer
Who thought that he could not dream forever
Sorrows dwelling inside his unconditioned mind
Beauty of a lady, the dreamer hopes to find

A blanket of chain twisting his body
Resisting it forever, prolongs his misery
A pillow of melted and hardened stone
Placing his head unto it, there goes the cracking of the bone

A bed of thousand thorns the dreamer lays
Darkened by the night, the dreamer cries
Stars of fallen promises which he stares above
Love of the dream t lady, the dreamer thinks he cannot have

Weakened by sadness, his body can't help to stand
Arms paralyzed by pain, causing a useless weary hand
Cold winter winds of the silent night, tears again to flow
Calm presence of darkness, in his dream the lady will show

Time of confusion passed away, the dreamer fell asleep
In his abandoned heart, the love of the lady he always keeps
Empty mind filled with soulful melodies
The prisoner of the past, strikes to forget the memories

After a long tensioned night, the dreamer was amazed
Opening his dull tainted eyes, the dreamer gazed
To an angel which held his hands and kissed him tenderly
Embraced by truthful warmth, came the lady's words
"I love you, I hope I can dream with you"
That's when the dreamers passionate dream came true
