UnTiTlEd

The rain is pouring from the clouds,
As lightning flashes in the sky.
She is sitting all alone again,
While he's off with her,
The girl he left her for.
Tears are falling from her bloodshot eyes,
There's nothing but endless pain inside.
She has lost all the light in her life,
Slowly being forgotten by the one she loves.
His picture held tightly in her hands,
The memories start rushing through her mind.
She falls to her knees,
Praying for someone to end her misery.
She reaches for the blade once again,
With no intent of holding back this time.
The blood soon appears from beneath the blade,
And begins to run down her arm.
All she wants is for everything to be ok,
But he'll never give her the satisfaction.
Feeling used and abused she begins to go deeper,
Her eyes clenching from the pain.
There's a knock at the door,
She rushes to the window hoping it's him.
His car is parked outside,
Was he here to answer her prayers?
As she makes her way to the one she loves,
She feels her knees getting weak.
She falls to the cold floor,
Unable to get up again.
Everything begins to go black,
And she can barely breathe.
Wondering why it's been so long,
He opens the unlocked door,
And sees her lying on the ground,
With blood starting to puddle on the floor.
He rushes over,
Calling her name,
Trying to wake her,
But he was too late.
Holding her lifeless body,
He begins to cry out for help.
Guilt begins to take him over,
Wishing he could go back and make this right.
He never meant to cause her pain,
But nor did he notice what he had done to her.
And now the angles have taken her away,
But his memory of her will always remain.
He now goes threw life asking God why,
For once he finally feels her pain.
