Nyree Why?

Nyree come on please tell me,
Why you don't do as you say?
why the words you say so easily,
But the actions are just not there.

You say you do care deeply,
That confusion blocked your heart,
That the love that did come freely,
Shocked you from the start.

You said that you would be there,
For when the world closed in on me,
When the rain kept pouring,
When I hurt so deep within.

Instead you had a go at me,
My calls you don't receive,
And when I send a message,
The reply is never seen.

You say you do still care,
That I mean something to you,
But would I really care,
About the dirt under my shoe?

That is what I feel,
What I really mean to you,
I know its really harsh,
But you're tearing me in two.

I gave to you my everything
More then a man should give,
And you can't even spare a moment,
"I'm busy" I do receive.

My love it never wavered,
Nor questions ever arose,
I never wanted anything,
Well perhaps a smile at most!

Don't say its complicated,
For surgery this sure is not,
And don't feed me more excuses,
For a child I know I'm not!

So tell me what to think,
Was I used? was this a game?
Do you really do feel something?
Or did someone sway your hand?

I shouldn't try to hide it now,
The emotions I no longer feel,
I'm nothing but a stone cold husk,
For I know love isn't real.
