Sad Rain

by Unrequited   Aug 27, 2007

Sorrow drips, licking this green land
As I drown, emptiness returns
Draping my skin, failing to fill these lonely hands.

Raindrops feed the earth, erase my smile
Angels patiently wait: decision to live or die...
I hunger for their tears; it seems my time has come
Nothing remains once you've tasted sad rain.
