A Lonely Son's Last Tear

by Beauty Within These Pages of Darkness   Aug 27, 2007

I want my life to expire,
Burned away slowly like a book thrown into the fire,
Tonight is the night,
To give into my perpetual fight,

You make me feel so irate,
Let me succumb to my fate,
Succumb to my untimely death,
I'd accept nothing less,

To you, I must be a curse,
Guess what, the drugs just made me feel worse,
After my first blaze, I wanted more and more,
No look I'm paralysed puking up all over my bedroom floor,

My life is what I continually hate,
I can't even wipe clean my slate,
I've now got to make a choice,
So hear my poetic voice,

I have chosen to say goodbye,
My life will now fade away and die,
Finally I've decided to succumb to my biggest fear,
You won't even have a chance to wipe away your lonely son's last tear,
