I Don't Wanna Know (Freestyle)

by Beauty Within These Pages of Darkness   Aug 27, 2007

I don't wanna know,
Feelings I had for you will never show,
If you leave,
I will feel a sense of relieve.
Knowing our relationship never worked,
I feel hurt.
My vision was blurred,
Cos' my love for you, wasn't heard.
My sight will no longer, be clear,
Everyday, I will shed a tear.
I will miss you being around,
A deeper love in you is what I found.
You knocked my feelings to the ground,
Just like a greyhound.
Why didn't you say?
That I was getting in your way.
My head is hangin' low,
I didn't really wanna go.
You knew that,
But in my face, you spat.
Then you slammed the door in my face,
You shouted out the window “Get outta this place”.
So I'm outta your life,
From now on, you won't be known as my wife.
I'm no longer gonna be the fool,
I'm gonna keep cool.
I don't feel anger,
Cos' if I did that would be classed as danger.
All these years, you've lied,
When I confront you, you haven't denied,
You said “I don't love you”, that's when my heart died.
Now though, I've come round to accept it,
I have dragged myself outta my pit.
I mean my grave,
I'm gonna be brave.
And get on with my life,
Without a wife.
I just wanna show,
Deep down inside me, I don't wanna know.
