It is so far worse a crime
to blow apart someones mind
but be heartless enough
to leave them alive
than it is
to take a life
you may not understand

is that youve never been driven to the knife
people cry for murder victims
when no one cries for the child who holds the gun
you cry for your children
and hate their killer
but you're to ignorant
to consider what your child did to them
and even if you do
then you brush it aside
